Aug 7: TELUS Digital India, an AI-powered customer experience and business process solutions provider, is building inclusive communities through education, one classroom at a time, through its flagship corporate social responsibility initiative, TELUS Days of Giving. In 2025, the program positively impacted more than 6,700 beneficiaries across Uttar Pradesh and other key regions. In recognition of these efforts, the company has been honoured with the CSR Times Award 2026 in the Education category, receiving Bronze recognition.

TELUS Days of Giving brings together team members, community partners and local institutions to create sustainable social impact through education, environment, health, digital inclusion, and livelihood initiatives. During TDOG 2025, over 630 team members dedicated 3,700 volunteer hours to help transform Bihari Lal Inter College. The team renovated 6 buildings, painted 36 classrooms, and refreshed 8 hallways and external walls, while also conducting career mentorship sessions for 60 students. In total, the initiative impacted 3,070 beneficiaries, creating a safer, more engaging, and conducive learning environment for students and educators.
Beyond infrastructure development, TELUS Digital India supported expanded access to quality education through Project Uday with SETU and Project Shiksha with Niswarth Seva Sankalp Trust. Together, these initiatives provided children from underserved and special-needs communities with free education, books, nutritious meals, and life-skills training, helping maintain student attendance above 85% while dropout rates stayed below 1%. Additionally, to help prepare students for a technology-driven future, TELUS Digital India supported digital learning initiatives delivered by its NGO partner, Challengers Group Trust, including more than 111 digital learning sessions and hands-on STEM workshops.
Complementing its education initiatives, TELUS Digital India funded Project Bulandi with Bright Future Foundation and Project Samika with SETU, to equip youth and marginalized women with industry-relevant technical, backend, and corporate skills, enabling them to access meaningful employment opportunities and improve their financial independence. Together, these initiatives support learning, digital inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods, extending TDOG’s impact well beyond the classroom.
Commenting on the recognition, Iftikar Ahmed, Vice President of Operations, TELUS Digital India, said,
“Education changes the trajectory of a person’s life, and that belief drives everything we do through TELUS Days of Giving. We are honoured that our efforts have been recognised with the CSR TIMES Award. Whether it’s renovating classrooms, keeping students in school, or helping young women build careers in tech, our goal is the same: give people the tools and opportunities to help shape their own futures. This recognition belongs to our team members, community partners and volunteers who make that possible every year.”
TELUS Digital India’s CSR programmes now reach thousands of students, educators, and young people across Uttar Pradesh and other regions, spanning classroom infrastructure, digital literacy, and workforce skills training. As TELUS Days of Giving continues to grow, the company plans to expand its partnerships with nonprofit organisations and local institutions to reach more communities in the years ahead.
