TVH engages with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever during Mumbai trade event

Mumbai, Sep 07: TVH, the global leader in quality parts and accessories for material handling, industrial, construction and agricultural equipment, had the opportunity to meet with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever during a networking reception in Mumbai, held as part of his visit to India in connection with the India EU Free Trade Agreement.

Representing TVH, Vishal Rajani, Managing Director, TVH India, met with the Prime Minister during the event, which brought together business and industry leaders for discussions on international trade, logistics and Belgium India investments.

The event was hosted by Port of Antwerp Bruges, Flanders Investment & Trade, the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Belgian Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of Belgium in Mumbai. It was part of the High-Level Dialogue on the India-EU FTA, which brought together key industry leaders and was attended by H.E. Mr. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and H.E. Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra. 

TVH has been present in India for 14 years and has continued to expand its operations in the country. What started as a support-oriented service centre has evolved into a growing Global Capability Centre in Pune, supporting TVH’s global operations across technology, engineering, digital, data and business support functions.

In July 2026, TVH expanded its Pune Global Capability Centre with a new office floor, adding 150 seats and taking the centre’s total seating capacity to 400. The expansion provides the capacity needed to support the continued growth of specialised capabilities in Pune.

Commenting on the engagement, Vishal Rajani, Managing Director, TVH India, said,

The expansion of our Pune Global Capability Centre reflects our continued investment in India and the growing role of our teams in supporting TVH’s global operations. Today, the Pune GCC supports teams across engineering, digital products, enterprise technology, data and AI, and business support. The centre works closely with TVH teams in Belgium, the United States and other global locations, contributing to the company’s global operations and technology capabilities.

The Mumbai networking reception provided TVH with an opportunity to engage in discussions on international trade, logistics and investment, and exchange views on the growing business relationship between Belgium and India.
