Mahindra University Celebrated at Babson Global Summit 2025 for Contributions to Educational Innovation

Hyderabad/New Delhi April 30th 2025| Mahindra University has been inducted into the Babson Collaborative Circle of Influence at the recent Babson Collaborative Global Summit held at EDC Paris Business School. The theme for this year’s summit was “The Power of Global Entrepreneurship Education: Cultivating Innovation through Collaboration”. It brought together 74 educators from 29-member institutions across 21 countries. The event served as a platform to explore how innovative teaching methods, impactful research, and strategic collaborations can drive meaningful change. Massachusetts, USA-based Babson College has hosted this annual event for eight years.

Dr. Rajkumar Phatate, Professor and Head of Mahindra University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), was awarded ‘Member of the Year 2025’ and inducted as an Advisor to the Babson Collaborative.

Speaking on the achievement, Dr Yajulu Medury, Vice Chancellor, Mahindra University, said, “We are deeply honoured by the recognition from Babson Collaborative, which reaffirms our commitment to fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and global collaboration. The ‘Circle of Influence’ award is a testimony to the efforts of our faculty and leadership in building a future-focused innovation ecosystem at Mahindra University.”

Dr. Rajkumar Phatate added, “Being named ‘Member of the Year’ and joining the Advisory Board is humbling. It reflects Mahindra University’s relentless pursuit of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in entrepreneurship education. I look forward to working even more closely with global peers to shape the future of entrepreneurial learning.”

With 30 speakers representing 11 member institutions from seven countries, the summit featured presentations of best practices in curricular and co-curricular learning. It also included insights into the host institution and its local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Speakers and participants contributed to thought leadership in their respective fields and engaged in informal discussions on future collaborative opportunities.
