New Delhi, Aug 14: Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Prem Singh Tamang participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur, reaffirming the spirit of national pride, unity and patriotism.

The Chief Minister described the campaign as a visionary initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, inspiring citizens to celebrate the national flag and uphold the values it represents.
The occasion featured a spirited rally from MG Marg to Manan Kendra, with enthusiastic participation from Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Advisors, Chairpersons, the Chief Secretary, DGP, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, Heads of Departments, OSDs, senior officials and members of the public.
As part of the programme, the Chief Minister and other dignitaries also visited an exhibition commemorating Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, paying homage to the countless lives affected during the tragic chapter of India’s history.
The occasion also marked the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, honouring the enduring national song that continues to evoke love and devotion for the motherland.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Tiranga would continue to inspire citizens to uphold the ideals of unity, harmony and national pride.
