Hosts Help Create Unforgettable World Cup Experiences

For Airbnb hosts, the initiative represents an opportunity to share their passion for the game with guests from around the world.

“I grew up playing soccer—it’s been part of my life since I could walk,” said Federico Zimmerman, an Airbnb host in Dallas, Texas. “Getting to share that love of the game with guests, and actually get them into a World Cup match, is something I never could have imagined when I first listed my home on Airbnb. This is what hosting is all about.”

Bringing Fans Closer to the Pitch

The complimentary ticket initiative is part of Airbnb’s broader FIFA World Cup 2026 program designed to bring fans closer to the action through exclusive fan experiences and unique stays.

In total, Airbnb hosts and guests will receive more than 1,300 complimentary FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets. The allocation includes surprise tickets awarded to guests already booked during the group stage, as well as tickets included with future eligible stays across all host cities throughout the tournament.

By combining accommodation with access to one of the world’s most celebrated sporting events, Airbnb is helping football fans experience the FIFA World Cup 2026 in an entirely new way – both on and off the pitch.
