Young Minds Embark on a Transformative Learning Journey with Amity University's 20th Summer School Batch

Ushering in a milestone era of pre-university transformation, Amity University commenced the historic 20th Batch of the Amity University Summer School (AUSS) at Amity University, Noida campus, from June 1 to June 12, 2026. The Summer School celebrates two decades of legacy in shaping young minds through an immersive, world-class blend of academic exploration and residential campus life. The grand inauguration commenced with a high-impact orientation session designed to integrate and inspire the incoming batch, which features participation by 184 students from classes 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th studying at 100+ premium schools in India and abroad including Modern School, Vasant Valley School, Mother’s International School, Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun, Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Gurugram  and others.

Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor Amity University, interacted with the participants and motivated them to become the best versions of themselves. Reflecting on the foundational core of Amitian values, the Chancellor shared the profound vision of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President of Amity Education Group, reminding students, Life is 20 percent of what you achieve academically, but 80 percent is how you connect with people.”, he further added.

He urged the incoming batch to break away from exclusive circles or regional groups, encouraging them instead to fully immerse themselves with one another over the next 12 days to forge unbreakable, lifelong bonds. Commending the exceptional efforts of the Amity University Summer School team, Dr. Atul Chauhan fondly recalled the inception of the program. He highlighted how the diverse academic exposure offered by AUSS empowers students to unlock global opportunities, with many alumni subsequently entering prestigious Ivy League and top-tier global institutions.

Dr. Anjani Kumar Bhatnagar, Addl. Director Summer Schooloutlined the expansive strategic vision of AUSS, priming the students for an unmatched immersion into global higher education. While emphasizing self-discovery, practical learning and cross-disciplinary exposure, he cited the foundational vision of Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor of Amity University, who pioneered the concept of summer school in India in 2009, mirroring the immersive academic frameworks practiced only at some of the Top Global Universities.

Demonstrating the tangible, long-term impact of the program, Dr. Anjani Kumar Bhatnagar introduced Aditya Jha, a stellar example of the AUSS legacy. Having attended two consecutive previous editions of the Summer School, Aditya has now joined Amity as a regular student pursuing Biotechnology and is actively serving as a University Buddy, a unique institutional concept that pairs regular university students with summer school participants to ensure holistic guidance and peer support.

The two-week fully residential Summer School program continues to provide students with a unique vantage point to explore passion-driven career pathways before committing to formal higher education. Students can choose from over 31 diverse learning streams spanning cutting-edge disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace & Avionics, Biotechnology, Cybersecurity & Blockchain, Data Science, Forensic Science, Fashion Design, Law and Management.

Participants reside in secure, premium air-conditioned on-campus apartment suites featuring dedicated lounges, Wi-Fi and 24×7 smart-card security infrastructure. Beyond rigorous laboratory and lecture hours, the itinerary incorporates dynamic extra-curricular activities, sports and technical workshops managed by elite university faculty members and industry experts. The 20th edition promises to carry forward this deep-seated tradition of institutional brilliance, unlocking potential and shaping the corporate and scientific leaders of tomorrow.
