Mumbai, Sep 08: Skyways Air Services Limited, India’s air freight forwarder and integrated logistics provider, today announced that its Authorised Economic Operator – Logistics Operator status has been fully restored by the competent authority vide communication dated August 21, 2026.
The Company’s AEO–LO status had been temporarily suspended on May 14, 2026. Following a comprehensive review of the detailed response and submissions made by Skyways, the competent authority has withdrawn the suspension and restored the Company’s AEO–LO status with immediate effect.
Skyways currently holds a valid and fully restored AEO–LO certification and continues to operate its business in the ordinary course without any disruption.
AEO–LO status is a prestigious certification granted by Indian Customs under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs framework. It recognises logistics operators that demonstrate the highest standards of compliance, security, and operational integrity across the international supply chain. Benefits include priority clearances, reduced physical examinations, deferred duty payments in eligible cases, and enhanced facilitation at ports and airports directly translating into faster transit times, lower costs, and superior service reliability for clients.
The swift restoration underscores Skyways’ robust internal controls, transparent engagement with regulators, and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of operational and regulatory compliance.
