Hyderabad: August 06, 2024: Public Relations Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter in association with CVN Public Relations Foundation is gearing up to celebrate the National Public Relations Education Day. This prestigious event, took place at Hotel The Tourism Plaza, Begumpet, Hyderabad on August 6, 2024, underscores the significant role of communication in transformative education. This is dedicated to advancing the field of public relations through education, fostering the next generation of PR professionals and enhancing the skills of current practitioners.
The event will feature the presentation of the National Award “Dr. CVN-PRSI Best PR Manager of the Year – 2024,” a recognition that started as a state-level accolade and was elevated to a national award under the auspices of the Public Relations Society of India. A high level selection committee of PR experts and leaders scrutinized applications and selected Shri Ch Srinivasa Rao, Dy. General Manager (Corporate Communications) at the NMDC Limited, Hyderabad, for this year’s award for his exemplary contributions to the field. Following him, Dr. T Ravi, Chief Public Relations Officer at Thirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, Andhra Pradesh, will receive “Jury Commendation” for his significant achievements, said Sri Y Babji, Editor, Public Relations Voice and the Convener of the selection committee.
The award ceremony will also honour best PR teachers, best PR academic counsellors and recognition to the students of PR that excelled in their academic pursuit in addition to Literary Excellence recognition to Sri Javvadi Lakshmana Rao, Bureau Chief, The Pioneer, Vizag.
This annual event is initiated in the honour of PR Doyen late Dr. CV Narasimha Reddi for enhancing the PR landscape in India. Dr. Reddi’s vision for a well-informed PR community finds resonance in today’s PR activities, which aim to nurture talent and elevate professional standards across the industry.
