Manasthali Celebrates Women’s Resilience with MannShakti 2025 Wellness Fest

Gurugram, March 10th 2025: Manasthali, a leading mental health and wellness platform, marked the International Women’s Day 2025 with MannShakti, an inspiring celebration dedicated to recognising and fostering the inner strength (shakti) of women. The event brought together experts, thought leaders and individuals from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful discussions and holistic wellness experiences for women.

Dr Jyoti Kapoor, Founder-Director and Senior Psychiatrist, of Manasthali Wellness, set the tone for the event by questioning the conventional approach to Women’s Day celebrations.  “Every year on Women’s Day, we celebrate and talk about rights, equality, and empowerment. But are things truly changing? Are we just offering token gestures, or are we driving real transformation? The idea of empowerment isn’t about external validation; it’s about recognizing the strength within us. True change happens when we stop expecting others to take care of us and start embracing our power. This inner strength, this manshakti, is what truly matters. Women’s empowerment isn’t just about acknowledgment about realizing our worth and taking charge of our destiny,” she said.

The annual event witnessed an engaging panel discussion on ‘We for Womanhood’, which was attended by experts including Dr. Alma Chopra – Women Disability Activist; Dr. Anjali Kumar – Founder, Maitri Woman; Dr. Indu Bansal – Group Director and HOD, Radiation Oncology, Paras Healthcare Pvt Ltd and Dr. Jyoti Kapoor, Founder-Director and Senior Psychiatrist, Manasthali. It covered critical issues such as the challenges faced by working women clients, education and action for cases of abuse, the neglect of women’s mental health while prioritizing family responsibilities, and the role of women doctors in supporting fellow women in healthcare. The panel was moderated by Ms. Aishwarya Raj, Clinical Psychologist, at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Attendees also participated in a deeply rejuvenating sound bath session with Ms. Francesca Bak, a renowned wellness expert, promoting relaxation and emotional well-being. Additionally, the event featured an integrative wellness program, offering holistic approaches to mental, emotional, and physical health.
Adding a unique dimension to the evening, Manasthali’s Wellness Studio Special – MAYA (Music-Art-Yoga-Awareness) brought a transformative experience for attendees. Led by Dr. Shambhavi Das, an expert in therapeutic arts and mindfulness, the session seamlessly integrated the healing elements of music, expressive art, and yoga to promote holistic well-being. Participants engaged in guided music meditation, where rhythmic sounds and melodies created a calming atmosphere, allowing them to connect with their inner selves.

Through these insightful discussions and immersive wellness experiences, MannShakti 2025 emphasized that women’s empowerment is not just about external recognition but about realizing one’s potential.
