Nationwide Release: 10th March 2025: The Global Institute of Management and Technology and Global College of Science and Technology, the tech division of Global Knowledge Campus, celebrated International Women’s Day today. The event recognized and appreciated women’s achievements in various fields and promoted gender equality.
Faculty members, students, and distinguished guests participated in the celebration, making it a memorable occasion. The campus celebrated the spirit of womanhood, providing a reminder of the strength, courage, and determination that women have shown throughout history and continue to show every day.
The event began with a welcome speech that emphasized the importance of empowering women and fostering a culture of respect and equality. Ms. Madhabi Biswas, Principal of BPCIT college,the chief guest of the event, graced the event and shared her inspiring journey. Ms. Biswas then gave a motivational speech that inspired the ideas of equality, unity, and respect for women. The event concluded with special kits for dignitaries, a cake-cutting ceremony symbolizing unity, and a cultural performance by the students.
Subhankar Das, Executive Chairman of Global Knowledge Campus, remarked, “Women have broken barriers, challenged stereotypes, and redefined possibilities in every field—whether in science, business, education, politics, arts or at home, shaping families and societies. Equality is not just a women’s issue—it is a human issue. Hence, to empower and raise awareness of the strength and power of this day, Global Knowledge Campus embarks on this event to appreciate all the hard work and resilience.”
Dr. Sudipto Bhattacharya, Principal of the Global Institute of Management and Technology, Global Knowledge Campus, added, “Every day should be Women’s Day because the world would be incomplete without the women we are surrounded with.
