09 January 2025: Envalior India Private Limited, a global leader in engineering materials, is elated to announce its double win at the FE Green Sarathi Awards 2024. The company received awards in two prestigious categories: Waste Reduction and Recycling Excellence for its engineering material Akulon Repurposed, and Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing for its Kohinoor project. These awards recognise Envalior‘s remarkable commitment to sustainable manufacturing and waste reduction.
The FE Green Sarathi Summit & Awards 2024 saw a confluence of thought leaders in the climate change and environment conservation sector. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of Northeastern Region of Government of India. The summit witnessed ideas and insights delivered on key themes such as making sustainability sustainable, green mobility, renewable energy infrastructure, and climate financing.
Envalior‘s award-winning initiatives have yielded impressive results, cementing the company’s position as a pioneer in sustainable manufacturing. The Akulon Repurposed achieved a 67% reduction in carbon emissions and recycled 3,000 metric tonnes of polyamide 6 ghost fishing nets per year. Meanwhile, the Kohinoor project showcased excellence in sustainable manufacturing, resulting in a 10 kWh per metric tonne reduction in energy consumption since 2021 and a reduction of over 16 Tonnes of hazardous waste since 2022.
