March 27, 2025 – GoodHomes, India’s premier residential design and innovation platform successfully hosted the much-awaited Crompton Presents GoodHomes Awards 2025. Held on March 25, 2025, in Mumbai, the prestigious event recognised excellence in architecture, interiors, and design by celebrating both emerging and established professionals, including designers, architects, influencers, curators, stylists, and décor experts who are shaping the design industry’s future.
The awards honoured exceptional contributions across diverse categories, including Architecture, Interiors, Project of the Year, and Practice of the Year. In the Architecture category, Aashni Kumar from TaP Design Inc. was recognised for ‘Aesthetic Balance,’ while Portal 92 and Studio NIVA won for ‘Material Balance.’ Under the ‘Interiors’ category, Studio Raha and Project 810 were awarded for ‘Spatial Balance,’ while Ritu & Associates and Studio Ipsa were honoured as ‘Crusaders of Indian Design.’ The coveted ‘Project of the Year 2025’ title was awarded to rED, whereas Thomas Parambil Architects and Design Doodle were recognised as ‘Practice of the Year 2025.’
The event not only celebrated design excellence but also highlighted the evolving trends shaping the future of the industry. Also in attendance were Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sumessh Menon, Fashion Designer Vaishali Shadangule, Artist Laila Khan Furniturewala, Manasi Scott – Singer/ Performer, Aakif Habib, amongst others.
The awards were adjudicated by an esteemed jury panel comprising Kumpal Vaid Lobo, Founder of Purple Backyard; Komal Sanghavi Vasa, Founder of Gesamt Design; Shantanu Garg, Founder of Garg Design; Zaki Shaikh, Founder of Parthenon Architects; Sumessh Menon, Founder of Sumessh Menon Associates; and Ronitaa Italia, Editor-in-Chief of GoodHomes India and H&D Trends.
