Chennai, India 11th September, 2025: Rewin Health, India’s first-ever digital therapeutic platform for Neurological, Musculoskeletal (Chronic pain) and Cardiopulmonary, Paediatric & Geriatric conditions, partners with 55+ clinical centres across India and today announced the launch of its 8 Rewin Clinics across Tamilnadu. With this launch, Rewin has become world’s first full-stack physiotherapy brand — combining a clinically validated digital therapeutics platform (B2B) with a fast-growing retail clinic network (B2C).
Multiple studies—including feasibility analysis, observational real-world evidence (RWE) collections, case series, and pilot interventions —have been conducted across a cohort of 330+ stroke patients at various multi-specialty hospitals. Utilizing gold-standard outcome measures, the results consistently demonstrated an 82% to 85% improvement in motor recovery and functional independence, coupled with a significant 84% reduction in pain scales and a strong 85% to 87% patient adherence rate compared to conventional methods. These results were further validated by a dedicated 4-month study at a Government Hospital in Tamil Nadu, which showed congruent outcomes: 85% improvement, and 87% patient adherence.
Rewin Health’s immersive VR and AI-powered rehabilitation platform aims to bridge this gap by making therapy more engaging, accessible, and outcome-driven.
Rewin Health’s platform is backed by 2 years of R&D and 1 year of clinical trials, validated by multiple private and government hospitals including the Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, National Centre for Aging, and National Institute of Mental and Neuro Health Sciences (NIMHANS).
Vijay Karunakaran, Founder & CEO of Rewin Health, said: “Stroke rehabilitation in India faces a twofold challenge—a vast patient burden and limited access to quality physiotherapy. At Rewin Clinics, we are addressing this gap by delivering evidence based immersive rehabilitation that makes therapy not only effective but also accessible and engaging. We remain deeply grateful to the doctors and hospitals whose support is pivotal in enabling better recovery outcomes for patients.”
As stroke cases continue to rise and access to rehabilitation remains limited—especially beyond metro cities—Rewin Health’s clinic model is poised to redefine recovery care in India. By combining affordability, scalability, and advanced technology, Rewin Health is building a future where world-class rehabilitation is within reach for every patient, no matter where they live.
Rewin Health has treated over 11,000 patients through its VR, Mobile App and AI-based motion sensor platform, delivering more than 1,20,000 therapy sessions to date. Its geographic footprint spans seven Indian states, eight districts in Tamil Nadu, one Union Territory, and two international markets—Maldives and Mauritius. The company has built a strong network of 55+ healthcare partners, including 20+ hospitals, 25+ clinics, 10+ geriatric and rehabilitation centres, and three universities. With 55+ functional centres across India, Rewin is supported by 350+ active therapists and has trained more than 500 clinicians on its platform.
