Bengaluru, September 29th, 2025: From growing up in Dubai with no formal musical background to becoming a Grammy Voting Member, Bengaluru-born Prithvi Prajosh has carved a path that is as inspiring as it is unconventional. A singer-songwriter, Berklee College of Music graduate, and rising name in the global indie music scene, Prithvi’s journey is proof that passion and persistence can create international impact.
Since 2020, Prithvi has released two full-length albums and nearly 30 original tracks, amassing over 500,000 Spotify streams independently. His latest album, Hello Sunshine (2024), was produced by Thomas Ng and mixed/mastered by Kaushlesh “Garry” Purohit—whose credits include Coldplay, Harry Styles, and Kendrick Lamar. The project led to a distribution deal with Future Asian Music (FAM), founded by the team behind 88rising, making Prithvi one of the few Indian artists associated with this global platform. His first single under the deal, Better Run with Priya Mani, released in June 2025 to strong acclaim.
Beyond his own work, Prithvi has become a sought-after songwriter and collaborator in Los Angeles, co-writing and featuring on multiple tracks with rising R&B artist Thomas Ng, while also writing for his upcoming album Blonde & Blue. He continues to collaborate with emerging voices like Dunedogs, Priya Mani, and Cely Riva, cementing his role as both a creator and mentor.
His music has crossed into film as well: his song Walking on Mars was licensed for the independent feature San Francisco Bae, screened at the Winter Film Festival in New York City earlier this year. On stage, he has been part of Los Angeles’ live circuit, performing at Hotel Café, The Viper Room, The Mint LA, and Bar Lubitsch alongside musicians who tour with global stars like Sabrina Carpenter.
A proud Indian talent, Prithvi’s roots remain central to his narrative. He was associated with the Grammy-nominated Berklee Indian Ensemble during the creation of their landmark album Shuruaat, and his tribute song to cricket legend Virat Kohli was featured on ESPNCricinfo. From performing live on Virgin Radio and City 1016FM in Dubai to opening for the legendary Adnan Sami, Prithvi’s journey reflects the perseverance and ambition of a young Indian artist determined to make his mark on the world stage.
Prithvi is also committed to supporting the next generation of artists—mentoring students in songwriting, piano, and vocals, and curating playlists for Daily Dosa Music to spotlight independent talent. Currently, he works closely with GAAYATRI, a vocalist featured on Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel and What If, and a performer alongside Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, and FINNEAS.
Reflecting on his path, Prithvi shares, “I had no family background in music, but I’ve always believed that stories find their way into the world if you tell them honestly. From Bangalore to Berklee to Los Angeles, my journey has been about proving that you don’t need a map when you have a voice. Becoming a Grammy Voting Member feels like carrying a little piece of India with me into every decision and every song.”
As he continues to build his career across songwriting, live performance, and artist mentorship, Prithvi Prajosh stands as one of Bangalore’s brightest musical exports—proof that talent nurtured here can shine on the world’s biggest stages.
