Pune, India – February 20, 2025: The Nisarg Srishti Welfare Foundation conducted an awareness session on noise pollution at the College of Engineering, Manjari, aiming to educate students and faculty about its adverse effects and the importance of collective action.
The session was led by Dr. Garima Kavathekar, Founder Director of Nisarg Srishti Welfare Foundation, alongside distinguished speakers Mrs. Neena Singh, Mrs. Shashikala Kumbhar, Mr. Manoj Channa, and Shri Rajendra Kulkarni. Volunteers from IIEBM also actively participated, engaging students in discussions and interactive awareness activities.
The program covered key aspects of noise pollution, including its health implications, environmental consequences, and relevant legal frameworks. Speakers emphasized practical solutions and community-driven initiatives, encouraging students to take an active role in promoting noise-free environments.
