New Delhi, 20th September 2025: Ek Soach Saathiya Foundation (ESSF) organised a Symposium on Education for All, followed by a vibrant cultural evening at the Convention Hall, Airport Authority Officers’ Institute, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi.
The event was attended by Yogendra Garg, Member of CBIC, Government of India, and Manish Kumar, Chief Commissioner of Delhi, Delhi Zone, was the Chief Guest at the occasion. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished guests, dignitaries, sponsors, and well-wishers.
In a landmark initiative, the ESSF Foundation has taken a significant leap forward in its mission to foster education and empowerment. Jagdish Lal Sehgal, Director of ESSF, proudly announced the awarding of 42 scholarships to meritorious and special students from marginalized backgrounds. This remarkable effort nearly doubles the number of scholarships awarded last year, showcasing the Foundation’s growing commitment to transforming lives through education.
The Cultural Evening showcased India’s artistic heritage with enthralling performances, including Bharatanatyam, a Tabla recital, and soulful singing, leaving the audience spellbound.
ESFF was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic under the visionary leadership of Rakesh Gupta. ESSF began as a Brotherhood Group of retired and serving officers from the Customs and CGST Department. What started as a support network soon transformed into a movement for social empowerment through education, environmental conservation, and cultural promotion.
Over the years, ESSF has made significant contributions through tree plantation drives, anti-plastic awareness, scholarships for underprivileged students, and cultural initiatives such as Kavi Sammelans.
Looking ahead, the Foundation’s Core Team—Jagdish Lal Sehgal, CPS Teotia, S D Roy, Rajesh Sharma, R P Mittal, and Manoj Agarwal—plans to expand ESSF’s initiatives by forming specialised groups focused on Health, Music, Photography, and Investment Awareness, further widening the scope of its social impact.
