Navigate, Explore, Succeed: British Council Kolkata Announces UCAS Sessions for Counsellors, Students & Parents on 19 November 2025
Kolkata, Nov 17: British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, invites school students (class 10 and above), parents and school counsellors to two exclusive in-person sessions with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) at its Kolkata premises on Wednesday, 19 November 2025. Led by Becka Horsley, Customer Success Partner (International Advisers) at UCAS, these sessions are designed to equip school counsellors, students, and parents with the latest guidance and insights on the UK university application process.

Both the sessions are open to all interested participants with free entry upon registration, and a Certificate of Participation issued by the British Council.
Session 1: UCAS Updates Supporting Your Students Better

This session will cover:
- Key UCAS updates ahead of the January deadline
- Common UCAS application mistakes and how to avoid them
- New insights into what drives Indian students’ study choices
