Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), in collaboration with RAK Customs, RAK Ports, and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, recently hosted the RAK Trade & Logistics Dialogue, a high-level forum aimed at fostering direct communication between government authorities and the emirate’s business community. The event brought together business owners, operations managers, partners, and logistics professionals to discuss the future of trade, logistics, and economic activity in Ras Al Khaimah.
The session featured detailed updates from key government entities on initiatives designed to strengthen the emirate’s trade ecosystem. RAK Customs highlighted its strategic focus on inter-agency collaboration, enhanced customer advisory services, and digital transformation via advanced e-customs integration. RAK Ports showcased the ongoing development of its SAQR 2.0 programme and expanded logistics services aimed at streamlining cargo movement. Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport underscored its contribution to global connectivity, unveiling its new terminal design and sharing insights on collaborations with leading logistics companies.
Participants were also briefed on a forthcoming joint incentive package by RAK Customs, RAK Ports, and the airport, aimed at empowering companies operating in the emirate. The dialogue concluded with a Q&A session, enabling attendees to raise operational considerations, share insights, and explore practical solutions directly with senior representatives.
