Originally launched in 2016 with a 2,800 sq. ft. space, MUJI now welcomes customers to an expansive 11,000 sq. ft. outlet its second-largest store in India embodying the brand’s timeless values of simplicity, sustainability, and functional living.

Founded in Japan in 1980, MUJI (short for Mujirushi Ryohin, meaning “no-brand quality goods”) offers a diverse range of household products, apparel, stationery, and food items. Built upon three enduring principles careful material selection, streamlined processes, and minimal packaging MUJI’s designs emphasize purpose, comfort, and durability over excess and ornamentation.
At the heart of MUJI’s design ethos lies the idea of creating “empty vessels” products that serve as a canvas for individual expression. By prioritizing function, quality, and sustainability, MUJI aims to deliver quiet satisfaction through reason and balance, offering goods that prompt the thought, “This will do.”
The new Palladium store marks a milestone in MUJI’s India journey, expanding its product assortment from 1,361 to over 1,800 articles across 193 merchandising spans (up from 65). Customers can explore an enhanced selection of apparel crafted from natural materials like organic cotton, linen, and lyocell, alongside skincare, tableware, stationery, and everyday essentials.
Designed to evoke calm and mindfulness, the store layout reflects MUJI’s philosophy of thoughtful simplicity encouraging conscious consumption and sustainable living through uncluttered design and natural harmony.
