Gurgaon/Pune/Hyderabad, July 28th 2025: Artificial intelligence (AI) is quietly transforming how consumers discover, consume, and interact with technology, powering personalisation, intent prediction, and immersive experiences that increasingly operate behind the scenes. To examine these shifts and bring together the ecosystem shaping them, MIXI Global Investments and Eximius Ventures have announced Cities Connect: AI x Consumer 2025, an exclusive multi–city series convening founders, investors, and operators building the next wave of AI-driven consumer products.
The series will be hosted across three innovation hubs: Gurgaon on 6 August, Pune on 12 August, and Hyderabad on 13 August. Each programme runs from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is structured to advance collaboration between the startup and investment communities working at the intersection of AI and consumer technology.
India’s AI market is projected to reach $17 billion by 2027, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 20%. Concurrently, the country’s digital economy is projected to surpass $1 trillion by 2030, driven largely by consumer adoption of digital services and mobile-first behaviour. These trends underscore the need for platforms that facilitate knowledge exchange and capital access for builders in this space.
The event will include market context, thematic discussions, and curated networking, with a featured VC and Knowledge Exchange block. This rapid segment pairs concise “reverse pitches” from venture funds, what they invest in and why, with short founder/investor talks distilling theses, market learnings, and practical growth playbooks, concluding with targeted Q&A sessions and warm introductions.
“We’re past the demo stage. India’s consumer internet leaders are already layering AI into personalisation, support automation, credit risk, and commerce conversion, but most early teams lack structured feedback loops from scaled operators and capital partners. Cities Connect is our way of closing that gap by creating a space where real conversations, actionable insights, and the right capital come together to help founders build enduring, AI-driven consumer businesses,” said Pearl Agarwal, Founder and Managing Partner, Eximius Ventures.
“Globally, consumer–tech founders are not just applying AI—they’re building AI-native teams, operations and products with clear leverage. We’re excited to co-host Cities Connect to contribute to the ecosystem across cities and explore this AI x Consumer shift in India more deeply,” said Tomoharu Urabe, Managing Director, Investment, MIXI Global Investments.
Cities Connect: AI x Consumer 2025 is designed to surface insights, accelerate informed conversations, and deepen relationships across India’s AI-forward consumer innovation landscape.
