Mumbai, Jan 07: Jyoti Structures Limited (JSL), a listed global Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company specializing in power transmission and infrastructure, celebrated December as its “Month of Giving” through a series of employee-driven CSR initiatives. The programs focused on providing in-kind support to community institutions located near JSL’s areas of operation.
The CSR initiatives targeted two organisations in proximity to JSL project sites: Netrahin Vikas Sansthan, a blind school in Phalodi, Rajasthan, and Shree Danev Foundation, an animal treatment and shelter facility in Pirana, Ahmedabad. Employees across JSL were encouraged to participate, contributing exclusively in kind to meet the specific needs of these institutions.
Essential items were procured based on the requirements identified by the organisations. Netrahin Vikas Sansthan received blankets, steel cupboards, and drinking water equipment, while Shree Danev Foundation was provided with animal medicines, cattle feed, and related supplies. The donations were formally handed over on Jyoti Structures Limited’s Foundation Day, December 27, 2025.
Commenting on the initiative, Pragati Nagar, Head of HR at JSL, said:
“Giving back is deeply personal for us because we work closely with these communities every day. Our focus was on providing support that is practical, meaningful, and relevant—especially to institutions near our project locations. Partnering with trusted local organisations ensured that our contributions truly reached those who needed them most.”
In addition to these initiatives, JSL extended support to Jivandhara Girls Ashram School in Maharashtra, donating 400 towels to meet the hygiene and daily living needs of the girls. This initiative was facilitated by Rajshree Kartavya Yoga Sansthan.
These activities reflect JSL’s commitment to structured and responsible CSR, encouraging employee participation while delivering support through organisations with a strong on-ground presence.
