Ishya Foundation Celebrates Four Years of Empowerment with Ishya Utsav 2025

New Delhi/Noida, 26th September 2025: ISHYA Foundation successfully hosted Ishya Utsav 2025, celebrating four years of transformative work in empowering women, children, and underprivileged communities. The event took place at the ISHYA Learning & Skill Centre and brought together community members, local authorities, and distinguished guests to witness the foundation’s journey of impact and growth.

The celebration highlighted the foundation’s commitment to education, skill development, and livelihood programs. Guests were welcomed with an introduction to ISHYA Foundation’s four-year journey, followed by inspiring performances including Saraswati Vandana, the Navras dance, and the theatre presentation “Sukh ki Kameez”. The event also featured an exhibition showcasing products created by women trained under the Kushal Sakhi initiative, reflecting the foundation’s focus on sustainable skill development and entrepreneurship.

Key dignitaries in attendance included Shri Anil Rai Gupta, Managing Director, Havells India Limited, Mr Ameet Gupta, Director, Havells India Limited, Surjit Kumar Gupta, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, along with government representatives and community leaders. Over 150 guests and 500+ community members participated in the celebration, witnessing the tangible outcomes of ISHYA Foundation’s programs.

Since its inception, ISHYA Foundation has positively impacted more than 6,000 individuals through its initiatives. Programs such as Shiksha Se Saksham have provided Balvatika for children aged 3–6, non-formal education for out-of-school children, and remedial support for students needing additional help, benefiting over 250 children. Through the Kushal Sakhi program, 60+ women have gained skills in stitching, computer literacy, crochet, and macramé, enabling them to pursue income-generating opportunities and entrepreneurship. Project Udaan has successfully supported 40+ children in gaining admission to private schools, providing access to structured education and a brighter future.

The foundation has also collaborated with NGOs, corporates, and institutions such as QRG Foundation, Baala, NCUI, ISRA, Katha, Rotary Club of Delhi Rendezvous, and Felix Hospital, ensuring holistic community support across education, health, women empowerment, and skill development. Local authorities, Anganwadi, and ASHA workers played a key role in implementing programs and building trust within the communities.

Speaking at the occasion, Mrs. Shalini Gupta, Founder of ISHYA Foundation, said, “As we celebrate four years of ISHYA Foundation, we take pride in not only providing support but also empowering lives within our communities. Our initiatives are designed to foster entrepreneurship among women and promote educational growth for children. We are committed to creating sustainable change and enabling individuals to confidently shape a brighter future.

The event was graced by esteemed chief guests Dr. Samita Singh, ACEO Yamuna Authority, and Shri Manoj Yadava, Director General of the Haryana Institute of Public Administration.

Shri Yadava added, “In just four years, ISHYA Foundation has touched thousands of lives with its holistic approach to education, health, and livelihood. Their dedication is not only transformative but also a model for sustainable community development.”

Looking ahead, ISHYA Foundation plans to expand its outreach by establishing new skill development and incubation centres aimed at training more women and youth in sustainable livelihood skills. These centres will provide hands-on training, market linkages, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship support, ensuring long-term empowerment and sustainable community impact.
