Dr. Preeti Bajaj has held prominent positions in esteemed institutions across India. She served as Vice Chancellor at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, and Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh. Before these roles, she was the Director of G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, where her leadership significantly advanced the institution’s academic and research capabilities. Her professional affiliations are extensive, including Vice Chair (MA)-IEEE Region 10 (Asia Pacific) until December 2023, Board of Governors of the Educational Society IEEE USA (2024-26), and Chair Awards and Recognition Committee of IEEE MGA for 2024 and 2025. Dr. Bajaj’s involvement in these organizations highlights her dedication to fostering global standards in education and technological advancements.
Dr. Bajaj is renowned for her contributions to the fields of computational intelligence, intelligent transportation systems, education data mining, and disruptive technologies. She has co-authored three book chapters, holds eight patents, and has published over 150 research papers with significant citations. Her work in designing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) has been pivotal in advancing public and commercial transportation solutions.
