Jorhat, September 06th, 2025: Celebrating Teacher’s Day, Cairn Oil & Gas, part of the Vedanta Group, organized a special event to honor and felicitate teachers who have dedicated their lives for the cause of good education, from schools across Agchamua, Maibelia and Paschamua. The initiative aimed to recognise the vital role of teachers in shaping young minds and contributing to the educational and social development of the region.
Guided by the belief that “A teacher is not the one who gives you all the answers, but the one who inspires you to find them yourself,” the event celebrated the passion, commitment, and tireless efforts of the teachers who continue to transform the lives of children through education.
Teachers were presented with tokens of appreciation and certificates acknowledging their service to the community. The ceremony was attended by students, school administrators, and representatives from Cairn.
Mantu Gogoi, Principal of Madhya Nakachari High School, said, “It is humbling to be getting this recognition. While we are fortunate to the nurturers of tomorrow, often our contributions go unnoticed. Such appreciation motivates us more. Kharod Gogoi, Assistant teacher added, “This indeed is a booster dose to our confidence and bolsters our spirit to continuing shaping young minds.”
Adding joy and vibrancy to the celebrations, students from participating schools showcased their creativity and love for their teachers through special performances. They also recorded thank-you videos, expressing their gratitude and admiration for the positive impact their teachers have had on their lives.
