Zuari International Enters INR 1,800 Crore Atta Market with Launch in Punjab

Zuari International, the consumer foods arm of Adventz, has announced its entry into the branded wheat flour category with the launch of Zuari Atta in Punjab. Strengthening its expanding foods portfolio under Zuari Foods—built around its 4-S basket of Sugar, Salt, Staples and Snacks (SnackPure)—the company is advancing its vision of serving Indian consumers’ needs from breakfast to dinner, including healthier snacking options in between. With this strategic launch, Zuari deepens its presence inside Indian kitchens, reinforcing its enduring promise of “Bharosa Wahi Jo Bana Rahe.”

Punjab’s branded atta market—valued at over ₹1,800 crore and growing at nearly 12% annually presents a compelling opportunity for a brand rooted in trust and authenticity. Zuari Atta has been crafted to meet the evolving expectations of consumers who seek purity, freshness, and reassurance in their everyday staples. Made from carefully selected wheat and freshly milled to preserve natural goodness, it delivers soft, wholesome rotis that bring Zuari’s signature care into daily cooking.

Each batch of Zuari Atta undergoes rigorous QA/QC checks, including NABL-accredited testing, and is supported by a tightly managed supply chain that delivers flour to stores within 4–5 days of milling ensuring superior freshness, aroma, and taste.

Zuari Atta will be available across the Ludhiana cluster from November–January through a network of over 3,500 kirana stores, followed by an expansion to the Chandigarh cluster between January–March as part of the brand’s Phase I rollout.

Following the initial launch, Zuari International plans to extend its staples presence across Haryana and Delhi NCR during FY26, progressing towards a wider North India footprint by FY27. The introduction of Zuari Atta will also set the stage for expanding the Zuari Foods staples range with upcoming products such as Maida, Sooji, Daliya, and Besan.

Zuari Atta will be available in 5kg and 10kg packs in the mass-premium segment, with additional trial packs under evaluation for first-time consumers.
