Shri Chirag Paswan, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, inaugurates BL Agro Pavilion at World Food India 2025

New Delhi, September 26, 2025: Shri Chirag Paswan, Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries of India (MoFPI), today inaugurated the BL Agro Pavilion at the inaugural day of the World Food India 2025 where the leading FMCG brand would be showcasing its vision and products at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

During the course of World Food India 2025, BL Agro, along with its sister company, Leads Connect Services, would be signing a series of MOUs with the Ministry and other international companies to build capabilities at home and also expand its home-grown agri-tech services abroad.

Inaugurating the BL Agro Pavilion, Shri Chirag Paswan, Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries of India (MoFPI), said: “World Food India is an industry congregation that brings the best of India’s food processing sector together and offers them great platform to showcase its immense potential to the world. I am delighted to inaugurate BL Agro’s Pavilion here today, a company that truly represents India’s rich agricultural heritage and modern innovation. Through its focus on quality, technology, and farmer empowerment, BL Agro is contributing significantly to the Government’s vision of “Make In India” a global food hub. I congratulate the BL Agro team for their remarkable journey and wish them continued success in taking Indian brands to international markets.”

Speaking on the occasion, Ashish Khandelwal, Managing Director, BL Agro Industries Ltd., said:  “We are extremely thankful to Shri Chirag Paswan ji for gracing this occasion and inaugurating our pavilion of BL Agro. In line with our promise, over the next two days we would be signing multiple MOUs with the government and international companies to showcase our commitment.”

Over the next two days, BL Agro would be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India, with an aim to advance India’s agro-processing capabilities and strengthening its position as a global food hub.

WFI will also see Leads Connect Services signing another MOU with Allpanna, a Portugal-based innovation and investment firm, that is aimed at strengthening Indo-Portugal cooperation in agriculture through technology transfer and sustainable practices.  The partnership will begin with a zero-cost proof-of-concept (PoC) of Leads Connect’s proprietary 360° Agri Analytics platform within the olive oil value chain of Lagar Do Vale. The objective is to validate product-market fit and create a benchmark adoption model for Europe and beyond.
