Sanskriti University, Mathura, marked a significant milestone in its journey toward global education by organizing a special convocation ceremony exclusively for international students on July 10, 2025. The event was held in the Seminar Hall of the university and witnessed participation from students, faculty, dignitaries, and guests from various countries.
The ceremony began at 2:30 PM with a grand academic procession, followed by the national anthem, Saraswati Vandana, and traditional lamp lighting, setting a ceremonial tone for the event.
Dr. Renu Gupta, Dean Academics, delivered the welcome address, appreciating the hard work and dedication of the international students. She stated, “Today is a proud moment for Sanskriti University. Our international students have shown incredible commitment to their education. Wherever they go, they will carry our values and reputation with them.”
The convocation was formally inaugurated by the Chancellor, Dr. Sachin Gupta, who shared the university’s vision. “Our mission has always been to provide quality education at global standards. Our international students are proof of our success. They will become cultural and academic ambassadors of Sanskriti University in their home countries,” he said.
During the ceremony, 35 students from countries including Namibia, Myanmar, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Ghana, and Sudan were awarded degrees across disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Science, and Nursing.
Degrees were conferred by:Dr. Virachalli, Dean – School of Engineering & Technology ,Dr. D.S. Tomar, Dean – School of Basic & Applied Sciences, Dr. Manish Agarwal, Dean – School of Management & Commerce, Dr. Parashar, Principal – School of Nursing
Key officials present included Registrar Mr. R.N. Trivedi, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rakesh Tandon, Dean Academics Dr. Renu Gupta, and Dean Engineering Dr. Virachalli. The event was further supported by staff members Mr. Vivek Srivastava, Mr. Dilip Singh, and Mr. Rahul, whose contributions ensured a smooth event.
Ms. Jyoti Yadav hosted the ceremony with impactful anchoring, and stage coordination was managed gracefully by Ms. Divya Gehlot. The chief coordinator for the event was Mr. Deepak, International Students Coordinator, who ensured the event’s successful execution.
This special convocation reflected Sanskriti University’s belief that education knows no boundaries. Students from diverse countries and cultures came together, sharing a message of unity, learning, and progress.
