Pune, 06th November, 2025: Bunts International Golfers Association (BIGA), a global community of golf enthusiasts from the Bunts fraternity, in association with Allcargo Group, the Indian-born global logistics conglomerate, successfully concluded the Second Edition of the Allcargo BIGA Golf Tournament 2025, an event celebrating sport, community, and culture.
Held from October 15 to 17, 2025, at the prestigious Oxford Golf Resort, Pune, the second edition of the tournament brought together more than 200 passionate golfers, industry leaders, and members of the Bunt community from across the US, India and Europe. Following the highly acclaimed inaugural edition at Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru, in 2023, this year’s event once again showcased excellence, camaraderie, and community spirit.
Founded with a vision to create a global sporting platform for the Bunt community, BIGA has consistently gone beyond golf, extending its support to India’s sporting ecosystem. This year, the association proudly sponsored two national-level athletes Mr. Chinthan Shetty (Swimming) and Ms. Evani Rai (Shooting) reinforcing its mission to encourage young talent and expand its contribution to the nation’s sporting landscape.
The three-day tournament featured competitive play across multiple categories, high-value networking sessions, and engaging discussions around BIGA’s evolving vision for the future. The event concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, where winners were felicitated by Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman, Allcargo Group, along with senior representatives from BIGA. The main category Open Category Winner was bagged by Mr. Rohan Hegde, whose remarkable performance stood out among an exceptional field of golfers.

Actively participating in the tournament himself, Mr. Shetty reiterated his continued support for the Bunt community through initiatives that promote its growth, unity, and presence on national and global platforms.
The evenings celebrated the community’s rich heritage, opening with Yakshagana, the traditional dance-drama from Mangalore, paying tribute to the region’s cultural roots followed by an energetic fusion music set by Barfi (Kannada music band) and a soulful sitar performance by Mr. Chandulal Kalburgi, blending tradition, elegance, and entertainment.
The event concluded with an announcement of the development of the Pilikula Golf Club in Mangalore by 2027 and to expand its footprint across in India and globally.
