Mathura, India – Sanskriti University, Mathura, has inaugurated its much-anticipated annual sports event, ‘Sanskriti Sports Fiesta 25,’ bringing together student-athletes for an exhilarating display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event commenced with the presence of renowned Indian wrestler Babita Phogat and former cricketer Madan Lal, who inspired and encouraged the participants. The fiesta will continue until March 1, 2025, featuring a dynamic range of 28 sports disciplines across 40 competitive matches.
With an impressive participation of 1,312 athletes, the sports festival showcases thrilling competitions in cricket, football, javelin throw, shot put, race events, badminton, chess, table tennis, and more. Divided into four groups, the athletes are set to battle it out for the ultimate championship title, displaying their dedication and competitive spirit.
The event is further elevated by the presence of internationally acclaimed sports personalities, who will mentor and motivate young athletes. Babita Phogat’s participation on the opening day added to the excitement and enthusiasm among the participants.
