Bengaluru, Aug 21: Rapido’s standalone food delivery app, Ownly, was onboarded as an Industry Partner for the 5th edition of the NRAI Food Delivery Summit 2026, organised by the National Restaurant Association of India. The partnership brought Ownly’s restaurant-first approach to a prominent industry forum focused on the evolving needs of restaurants, cloud kitchens and the wider food-tech ecosystem.

The NRAI Food Delivery Summit 2026 brought together restaurant leaders, technology companies and other industry stakeholders to discuss emerging trends shaping food delivery. The fifth edition explored technology-led growth, evolving consumer expectations, profitability and operational efficiency, while examining opportunities to create sustainable value across the delivery value chain.
Ownly’s participation further underscored its commitment to engaging with restaurant partners and industry stakeholders to build a more balanced food delivery ecosystem. Built on a zero-commission model, Ownly enabled restaurants to offer everyday low prices to customers while avoiding multiple layers of platform fees. The association came at a time when the food delivery sector was witnessing a growing focus on transparency, efficiency and value for both restaurants and consumers.
The collaboration built on the Memorandum of Understanding recently signed between Ownly and NRAI in Bengaluru. The partnership combined Ownly’s zero-commission model with NRAI’s deep engagement with the restaurant community, with a shared focus on exploring solutions that deliver greater value for businesses while enhancing the consumer experience.
