Bengaluru, May 11: The Departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and CSE (AI & ML) at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management (GCEM) wrapped up the 4th edition of its flagship 24-hour National Level Hackathon, GCEM HACKS 4.0
This dynamic two-day event drew enthusiastic participation from 50 teams, totaling over 200 students from prestigious institutions across India, including Rathinam Technical Campus, Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering, Cambridge Institute of Technology, Rajarajeswari College of Engineering, ATME College of Engineering, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, HKBK College of Engineering, Brindhavan College of Engineering, and GCEM. Participants showcased cutting-edge technology, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving in a high-energy environment.
The grand finale featured evaluations by esteemed jury members Mr. Senthil Murugan, Principal Engineer at Baxter Innovations & Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Sudhakar K. N., Associate Dean at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, RV University. Their expert insights elevated the event’s standards. Taking home the 1st Prize was Innovix from East Point College of Engineering and Technology, followed by Ek Tha Bug from Gopalan College of Engineering and Management in 2nd Place, U & I from Gopalan College of Engineering and Management in 3rd Place, and Consolation Prizes awarded to GG from New Horizon College of Engineering and Bugs Bunny from Gopalan College of Engineering and Management.
