Seven KLH Aziznagar Startups Receive Rs.19 Lakhs Boost from IIT Hyderabad TiHAN I-Hub

KLH Aziznagar Campus, Hyderabad, has achieved a proud milestone by securing ₹19 lakhs in funding from IIT Hyderabad’s TiHAN I-Hub to support seven student-led startups. The funded startups span across diverse and impactful domains such as healthcare, robotics, drone technology, traffic management, and intelligent electronic systems.

Among the supported initiatives, Hillsafe, led by Principal Dr. Akella Ramakrishna and student Ayushi Bhati, is focused on developing safety solutions, while Electronic LOOP, guided by Dr. Budati Anil Kumar and student N. Sree Karthikeya Reddy, is working on next-generation electronics. AI_TechDrones, founded by student innovator K. Abhilash, is pushing the boundaries of AI-driven drone technologies, while Cognalis Solutions, developed by the same student leader, is advancing intelligent digital platforms. Smart Traffic on Edge, created by student Reka Ruthika with mentorship from Assistant Professor N. Chiranjeevi, aims to revolutionize traffic management with edge computing and AI. MeDFly, initiated by student Pranav, is building healthcare-focused drone applications, and Robo Sevak, led by Dr. Kayam Sai Kumar and student Krishnaveni, is creating robotic assistants for practical use. Funding for these startups ranges from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakhs, based on scope and scalability.

The support has been extended through TiHAN I-Hub at IIT Hyderabad, a national center of excellence for Autonomous Navigation Systems. By recognizing the work of KLH Aziznagar students and faculty, TiHAN has reinforced the collaboration between academia and industry in building India’s innovation ecosystem.

Congratulating the students and faculty, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President of KL Deemed to be University, said, “This recognition is a proud moment for us and a testament to the spirit of innovation that defines our campuses. It shows the strength of our students’ ideas and the dedication of our faculty mentors. We believe education is not only about academic excellence but also about creating solutions that benefit society. This milestone encourages our students to dream bigger and lead the way in technology and entrepreneurship.”

Sharing his thoughts on this achievement, Dr. Akella Ramakrishna, Principal of KLH Aziznagar Campus, said, “This recognition from TiHAN I-Hub is not just funding support, but a validation of the potential our students hold to contribute meaningfully to the world of innovation.”

Last year also, Aryuemaan Kumar Chowdhury, a student of Electronics and Communication Engineering at KLH Hyderabad campus, secured similar funding for his startup. His idea — an AI-based Flight Controller for Aerial Navigation — impressed the Technical Expert Evaluation Committee at TiHAN, IIT Hyderabad, and brought him recognition and support. This continuity of achievements reflects the strong innovation ecosystem across KLH campuses, where students are consistently encouraged to transform bold ideas into impactful ventures.
