Bengaluru’s Turn to See the Moon Turn Red, Final Blood Moon of 2025 to Dazzle Bengaluru Skies This Weekend

Bengaluru, September 06th, 2025: Bengaluru’s sky will put on a rare show this weekend as the Moon turns red during a Total Lunar Eclipse on the night of September 7–8. The event is the last total lunar eclipse of the year, and the city will have one of the best views in the world.

To mark the occasion, Curiouscity Discovery Centre is throwing open its doors from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, inviting families, students, and astronomy fans to watch the spectacle together.

Along with telescopes and live commentary by Genex Space teachers and Curiouscity educators, the evening will feature fun sessions explaining the science, myths, and stories surrounding eclipses turning the event into more than just skywatching.

The most-awaited moment will be the totality phase, when the Moon takes on glowing copper and crimson shades lasting from 11:00 PM to 12:22 AM (IST).
