18th August, New Delhi- SkyJumper, one of India’s leading indoor amusement parks, is proud to support and celebrate the achievements of 13-year-old Rishi Kumar, a rising star in trampoline gymnastics. With silver medals at the 2023 and 2024 Trampoline Nationals and a third consecutive selection for the 2025 Nationals, Rishi’s journey is a reflection of SkyJumper’s mission to turn recreational spaces into breeding grounds for athletic excellence.
Rishi’s trampoline journey began at the age of 4.5, when his mother introduced him to the sport as a way to improve his breathing difficulties. Two years ago, seeking a dedicated facility for serious training, Rishi’s family approached SkyJumper Chennai. Recognizing his potential, SkyJumper welcomed him to their facility, offering world-class infrastructure and a supportive environment to nurture his growth.
At SkyJumper, the parks are designed not just for entertainment but to promote movement, discipline, and structured physical activity. With over 4,000 sq ft of interconnected trampolines, safety protocols, and multi-activity setups, the brand provides an ecosystem where young athletes like Rishi can train with consistency, grow their confidence, and unlock their full potential.
According to Rishi, “Without SkyJumper’s support, I wouldn’t have made it this far. The Olympic-size trampolines, the friendly staff, and the opportunity to train regularly provided me with the consistency I needed to succeed. I’m chasing my dream of representing India internationally, and SkyJumper has helped me believe it’s possible.”
According to Mr. Rajkiran Deore, GM Operations, SkyJumper Sports and Amusements, “Since becoming an official Olympic sport at the 2000 Sydney Games, trampoline gymnastics has demanded exceptional talent, discipline, and world-class training. Rishi’s journey shows that with the right training and encouragement, Indian athletes can not only compete but also win at that level. At SkyJumper, our ultimate mission is clear to see India bring home an Olympic gold in trampoline gymnastics. Supporting Rishi is part of building that future, where every jump takes us one step closer to making this dream a reality.”
Rishi’s story has sparked SkyJumper’s plans to launch “Jump to Gold,” a structured scouting and coaching program for young athletes across select centers. These programs will focus on identifying grassroots talent, providing certified coaching, and building a pathway from recreational training to competitive success. SkyJumper’s facilities, including wall zones, dodgeball courts, and climbing areas, support holistic physical development, making them ideal for cross-training and progressive learning.
